Imperial Yeast was
founded in 2014 in Portland Oregon by a group of enthusiasts with a
goal of providing quality yeast to comm
ercial
and home brewers. They
have
grown and
expanded, and offer home brewing packs with 200 billion cells, enough
to adequately pitch 5 gallons of wort with a starting gravity of up to
1.070.
As these packs do not have a yeast nutrient
starter included, it is always wise to make a yeast starter before
pitching.
