Our American Red extract is mashed with pale and crystal (caramel) malts, for a deep amber-red color and rich, partially caramelized malt flavor. For the deepest red color and smooth flavor, our American Red has been mashed without roasted barley, just with a large proportion of light and dark crystal malt. Brew your own robust red beers to your own taste without the need for mashing. Preboiled 15 minutes before vacuum extraction, so you only need to do a 30 minute boil if you desire. 32 lb growler.
We recommend all malt extracts be stored in a cool place, and refrigerated if you plan to store them for more than 90 days.
