KegLand EVABarrier tubing is made with an EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) outer wall and also an inner proprietary polymer barrier. This tubing is BPA free and odorless, and is meant to be used with the KegLand DuoTight line of push in fittings.
The outer barrier is extruded to precise tolerances, and seals well when used with various John Guest, DuoTight or other push in fittings. The outer barrier gives the tubing excellent kink resistance so the line is able to bend around a tight radius without kinking. The inner barrier is made from a proprietary polymer that has excellent gas barrier, protecting your beer from oxidation. The EVABarrier inner lining is so smooth that it harder for bacteria and beer film to build up on the inner walls. So your beer will stay fresher for longer and not loose carbonation like non barrier tubing, and the tubing is less likely to harbor bacteria.
1/8" inner diameter, 4/16" outer diameter, or 3mm inner diameter and 6.35mm outer diameter. This small diameter is often used for water lines coming into kegerators for carbonation purposes. Perfect for hooking up the Reactor Keg Carbonation Lid to a B65 DuoTight Ball Lock fitting and a 1/4" ice maker water valve. Also fits our item L57 Oxebar Silcone Elbow. Comes in a 39' roll.

Q: What is the pressure rating of this size and all the other sizes of EVAbarrier?
A: All EvaBarrier sizes can withstand 100 PSI at 80 F or cooler.

Q: Which duotight adapter can connect this line to my standard tower faucet shank (barb style)? I do not have the " duotight specific" tower shanks Thank you!
A: If the barb is part of the shank and not held on with a nut and washer, you can't do it without replacing the current shanks with Duotight shanks. If you can remove it, replace the nut with item Z94, then attach item C70 to that, then attach the 8mm end of item Z84 onto the other end of C70 and the 6.5mm EVABarrier into the 6.5mm end if item Z84.

Q: I see you have a 6.5mm Duotight beer ball lock keg connector for this line. But how can it be connected to a standard faucet shank? Is there a Duotight push connect shank connector for this 6.5mm/3mm line?
A: We do not have Duotight 6.5mm sankey compatible fitting, but you could work around this with parts B65 and P62 which would give you the back of a shank with a beer ball lock fitting, and a 6.5mm Ball lock beer connector.

Q: What is the resistance in pounds per foot, when balancing draft lines with this? I know the 4mmx8mm is approximately 2.9 pounds per foot.
A: If you wish to use this 3mm ID EVABarrier tubing in your home kegerator, you will need to use 3.2 feet per line to achieve the proper flow resistance you're looking for.
