3 L. Maris Otter Pale Malt
Great base malt for English-style beer, but also wonderful in other styles that can benefit from a little more malt character like bread or biscuit. Williams has really been on top of shipping my orders as well. Often they ship and even arrive the day after ordering online. I live about a day's shipping away from the Bay area.
TF Maris Otter
Solid base for a beer you really care about. Never had poor quality from the supplier. I always have it on hand.
A must for English styles
Good base malt is the key to making great english beers (among others), so this is definitely worth it to get over 2-row.
Love the Maris Otter
It's malt has quickly become my default base malt. It gives the beer just a nice little earthy undertone, a little something extra that regular pale 2-row doesn't have. It adds a real nice smoothness to the beer that I've found really enjoyable in many different styles.
Great Malt
I had not been satisfied with typical two row malts for the body of my recipes. I felt they were lacking flavor. I was developing, and brewed a porter recipe, and WOW. This malt added the body and flavor that I was looking for. You won't be dissapointed if you are looking for that full european malt flavor. This malt will be in all my brews from now on.
