Q: If I was to transition from metal corny kegs to oxebar kegs what sort of investment would I have to make in attachment hardware ? I’m not familiar with the fittings that are shown on the top of the oxebar kegs. Thanks !
A: The Oxebar 20 Liter features ball lock fittings just like your metal corny kegs (assuming they are ball lock, not pin lock). So no new equipment, just hook your gas and beer ball lock lines up to the Oxebar.
Every Ounce Counts
Light enough to easily clean, fill and lower into my keezer by hand. Really nice keg. Very light, easy to clean and seals well. I use a silicon grease on the top sealing surface an some on the threads. Difficult to remove the top if over tightened. I use a silicon dry mat to hold the keg with my knees which works - let the CO2 out first. And don't hold the top by the handles if off the keg - the handle is hard to get back on if it snaps off. A digital tire gauge connected to duotight tubing will check for any leaks and lid tightness.
