Q: What is the temperature range/is there a thermostat? If so, does it have a timer/auto shutoff? I need it to maintain a temp & not cut off after some # of hours like all the rest of heating blankets.
A: There is no thermostat, but it keeps a fermenter about 15 degrees warmer than it would be without the heater. Use this in conjunction with our thermostats item Q91 or P40 for precise heating control.

Q: Is it safe to use on glass carboys?
A: Yes, although keep in mind glass carboys should always be lifted or moved when you have protective gloves on, as they can have small faults causing unpredictable failures and possible personal injury.
