What is a Distilling Parrot? A distillers parrot allows you to take alcohol gravity measurements using an Alcometer in real time as your still is running. The stainless PolyPhoenix Distillation Parrot is extremely versatile, and includes the following features:

• 1½" Tri Clamp inlet cone for those who need it
• ½" threaded outlet for attaching a ball valve to dump if needed

Saved my hydrometer
I had the older KegLand Parrot and broke a couple hydrometers by dropping them into the tube. This one, the first time I dropped the hydrometer, the little spring saved me!
