Q: Will the cloth looking material protect from liquid spill burns, Iike if hot wort spills over a kettle and runs onto these gloves, will the liquid penetrate the gloves and burn skin?
A: They are not waterproof, and breathe a little to make them more comfortable when wearing. So no, these are not boiling water proof.

Q: How cold are these rated for? Are they suitable for handling things like dry ice or frozen CO2 cylinders?
A: Frozen C02 cylinders, no problem. A large quantity of dry ice might get through the breathable fabric and hurt your skin after a period of time.
