William's Nut Brown Extract has been formulated specifically for brown ale brewing. We worked over a year developing this extract, which includes a blend of pale, dextrine, crystal, chocolate, and other malts to give a rich dark amber color and complex malt character with hint of a nut character. Preboiled 15 minutes before vacuum extraction, so you only need to do a 30 minute boil if you desire. 32 pound growler.
We recommend all malt extracts are refrigerated if storing for more than 90 days.

Top notch nut brown
I bought a jug of this desiring on going on a four 8 lb LME batch English ale kick. Made an oatmeal stout with the help of some 420L carafils II. Also made an English old ale with some Williams dark DME. Tried a Scotch oatmeal ale with some leftover Carafils and an ESB with a half pound of dark DME. The jug is just a solid base/buy for any English/Irish/Scottish ale and if you wish to batch out. Wyeast liquid yeasts used were Irish ( stout), Scottish (go figure..), London 3 for the ESB and Ringwood for the old ale. Would love to hear feedback.
