Here is a good basic Mexican Lager Recipe for 5 gallons:
Malta Lager
7 lbs. Malteurop Malta Two Row Mexican Malt
1 lb. any Vienna Malt
2 lbs. Flaked Corn
.75 oz. Hallertau (add at start of 1 hour boil)
.50 oz. Hallertau (add during the last 2 minutes of the boil)
Yeast: Novalager for an easy to use temperature forgiving dry yeast, or Wyeast 2206 Bavarian Lager Liquid Yeast
Mash for an hour at 153 F., boil for 1 hour, refrigerate for one month after carbonation is achieved for the smoothest flavor.
