Q: Would this fit the Grainfather G30?
A: No, it is too large to fit past the top hoop that holds the grain basket.

Q: Will this work in the Brewzilla Gen 3.1.1 35L? I have heard that the lower ring covers the pump inlet, which of course inhibits efficiency of the unit. Thanks!
A: Kegland says it works with the 3.1.1 Brewzilla. It may block the pump a bit, we do not have a 3.1.1 unit here to double check.

Q: What is the mesh/micron rating for the perforations? I ask because while this is great for keeping larger debris off the bottom, I forsee the risk of fine materials being trapped under the false bottom and not being able to recirculate, stir or scrape them off the bottom and leading to a lot of scorched material. Has anyone encountered this issue? Thanks!!
A: We have posted a new picture with a ruler for scale to help answer this. It does have perforations that will allow fine dust and small particles to slip through. You may try a straining bag in combination with this if you have trouble with debris buildup under the false bottom. The other alternative to to grind your grain as coarse as possible while still not leaving any whole kernels.
