High quality plastic valve made in Italy. Fits a 1” diameter hole. Includes two pictured white EPDM rubber gaskets, and a back nut. Withstands temperatures of up to 140º F. To install this in your bucket, first drill a 1” hole with a holesaw. When inserting into your tank, put one white gasket on the inside of the tank, and the other on the outside. This can be disassembled for cleaning- when reassembling, using a touch of plumbers grease (silicone grease) will help it last longer.
Fits our Siphonless Fermenter and Priming Tank, as well as all Vintage Shop carboys drilled for a spigot. Keep in mind with the Siphonless Fermenter, that this valve has a 1/2" straight thread, so the Invert Tube Backnut will not fit, you will have to use the back nut that comes with the valve.
These include a swivel feature; the barrel of the valve swivels so you can mount the valve very low in a bucket, and not have it contact a counter top when you put the bucket down. The flow rate is 1 gallon every 75 seconds.
