Due to it being made
of POK plastic with a POK molded shuttle, the first pour from a
Nukatap Mini will have less foam than from a conventional metal
faucet due to the fact that cold beer cools down POK plastic faster
than it does metal. The POK plastic also insulates better than brass
or stainless, a helpful feature between pours.
The Mini debuts a new shank system which eliminates the need to drill a 7/8” hole in your cooler or refrigerator door. The new Nukatap Mini Shanks (available for 8mm and 6.5mm Evabarrier tubing) use EvaBarrier tubing to draw the beer right to the tap, and are secured with three screws to the outside, preventing the shank from rotating, a common problem with metal shanks and coolers.
Note: You will need a Nukatap Mini Shank (item Q37 or Q51) or Nukatap Ball Lock Adapter (item Q35) to use this faucet. This does not fit standard faucet shanks.

A: No, it only fits on Nukatap mini shanks.

Q: Two questions: 1) how big in diameter is the trim plate on the shanks? (Another way to say this is, how far apart do two taps have to be?). The front of my keezer is pretty tight. 2) does this require using a specific brand or type of tap line? I currently have 3/16" ID tap lines and am not sure how that relates to what size of shank I need.
A: 1: 2" wide for all Mini Tap Shanks 2. Yes, 8mm outer diameter tubing like our Z91 EvaBarrier Tubing if you are using Nukatap Mini Shank item Q37, or 6.5mm outer diameter beer tubing if you are using Nukatap Mini Shank item Q51.

Q: Does the handle remove so I can add a custom handle?
A: Yes, it unscrews, although the exposed male threads are M6 x 1, smaller than handle threads on full sized faucets.

Q: I see this has a threaded spout, does this take Nukatap spouts like the Stout Spout?
A: It has a 1/4" male flare thread, so it does not fit the larger Nukatap spouts. It does fit item Z93, in case you want to attach Duotight tubing to the end of this faucet.
Awesome Tap
Perfect little tap. Mounted 4 on the front of my bar fridge. Super simple installation and Duotight compatible. Minor fiddling with dispensing pressures, but now works flawlessly.
