Holds 2.5 Liters (84 fluid ounces) of beer or other carbonated beverage in an unbreakable lightweight barrier PET bottle. Carry handles are included. These are inexpensive enough to bring to a party and leave behind if you want. These are robust enough to use when carbonating with priming sugar. These include PCO 1881 threaded caps, which is the standard cap for all 2 liter PET soda bottles. These are rated at 25 PSI.

2.5 Growlers
I too was concerned about these holding pressure under carbonation, but although I haven't had them hold but for a month so far, they are doing fine. I was happy to see that just 4 of these bottles were enough for 3 gallons of my beer batch.
My party growler
These 2.5 liter growlers hold pressure well enough to carbonate using priming sugar, and are perfect for taking places. Highly recommended for the price, especially if you get the Pet bottle dispense pump.
