The KegLand Stainless Steel Mini Beer Kegs are specifically designed for home brewing/growler dispensing. They are suited to small batches and suited to people who want to fit them into their home refrigerators. You can naturally carbonate using priming sugars or force carbonate and serve your beer with the optional ball lock lid (item P87, see at right). They come with a silicone gasket sealed stainless threaded lid, so you can fill them with beer and let them naturally carbonate, or carbonate as needed with the optional P87 ball lock lid. You will be given a chance to buy this lid (you do not need a Ball Lock Lid for every keg) when you put this in your cart.
These fit into a standard domestic refrigerator. The optional Ball Lock lid for these kegs use a flexible silicone dip tube the kegs can also be dispensed on their side or upright. The flexible silicone dip tube of lid P87 is heavier than beer, and will sink to the bottom even if the kegs are on their side. Kegs are equipped with a 30 PSI relief valve, and have a maximum pressure of 45 PSI.
Kegland Mini Kegs use the gold standard acid bath electrolosis to pacify the 304 grade stainless steel making the more resistant to rust than any other mini keg on the market. These are the only mini keg that uses a special robotic technique to weld the kegs from the inside out. This means KegLand gets a superior welding finish that is more sanitary than any other mini keg available. Q: If I buy two of these but only one tapping head, how easy is it to move the tapping head between the kegs?
A: You just unscrew the pressure cap that comes with Mini Keg, and screw in the tapping head. You will lose a bit of pressure when you do this, but you can inject C02 after moving the tapping head to compensate for this.

Q: How tall is this with the Ball Lock Lid and The Flow Control Faucet on it?
A: The 4 liter mini keg (P11) with the ball lock lid (P07) and the flow control keg faucet (R67) attached stands 20 3/4" from the highest point of the handle to the base of the mini keg.

Q: Can this be ordered with a PRV cap? I have a kegsmith tap and would like an extra bottle for conditioning craft beer with a PRV cap. I liked the info on it having inside TIG welds.
A: We do not have a pressure relief valve cap, but do have our item P07 Ball Lock Lid, which in addition to ball lock in and out fittings, has a pressure relief valve.

Q: Do you have to use the tapper or can you use a picnic tap?
A: If you have optional Ball Lock Lid P07, you can use any type of tap that will connect the beer out ball lock fitting, a picnic type tape with hose will work well, like our item D21.

A: Sorry, it is 14.5" tall with the ball lock lid.
Beats the alternatives
I'm not sure one way or another whether this format would beat the classic Corny Keg at larger scales, but this is a heck of a small keg. It feels easier to clean, it's definitely easier to bunch several together, and the lid has always held a nice seal when I've used it. The downstem is easily replaceable which rocks, and the fact that you can toss on a relatively cheap lid and treat it like a giant bottle is pretty rad as well. Try one out!
