This 6 gallon Fermonster features a 4" diameter O ring sealed lid for easy cleaning, that takes a #10 stopper and airlock (stopper and airlock not included, you will be given the opportunity to purchase these when you put this in your cart). Gallon markers are molded into the side at 5 and 6 gallon steps. An optional solid lid is also available in case you want to use your Fermonster for storage, or want to drill your own airlock, thermowell, or Temp Twister holes.

A: Yes, although it is 6 gallons so it has more headspace, which means it is not a good choice to use as a secondary fermenter when fermenting wine.

My first impression was "kinda flimsy". When I installed the valve the carboy body just seemed very thin. I have not looked at the other big name carboy so I can't compare them. After racking my beer into it and picking it up, I again thought "flimsy". Gonna have to be careful with this one, but it was good price and should be very easy to clean.
