This malt from Briess is a 20° Lovibond light crystal used in Abbey style ales. Adds a rich caramel sweetness and body. This has the most intense caramel sweet aroma of any of the crystal malts. Use 5 to 20% in the mash.

I brew a lot of Belgian beers, and the Carmel Vienne is an excellent staple with the undertones that a good Belgian beer needs.
