This large 1.5 lb. gel ice pack is frozen and will help keep liquid yeast cold for at least one day when it leaves our warehouse (not needed for dry yeast). The liquid gel ice is the same formula for many different ice packs, and all you need to concern yourself with the size and how long it takes to arrive. This 1.5 lb. bag is much larger than packs sold elsewhere, and will keep your yeast cool for 1 day. It is reusable and can be refrozen many times. 9.5" long, 5.5" wide, 1.5" thick.
Do not order this if you order our optional Yeast Warranty Box item S96, because it is already included in the insulated two day air box.

Warm When the Yeast Arrived
My yeast was warm when I opened the package. However, the yeast did work fine, so the ice pack probably did it's job. I thought the trip to Washington State from California in January would be cold enough, but apparently not. Spend a little more or buy dry yeast.
