Raspberry Wheat Yeast Choices

- +

In stock, will ship on Thursday, December 11

•  Preboiled Extract Means a Quick 30 Minute Boil

•  Choice of Optional Liquid or Dry Yeast

Raspberry is perhaps the most versatile of fruit flavors, with enough acidity to keep its tart flavor from being buried by the malt. Our Raspberry Wheat features the soft refreshing flavor of wheat beer lightly accented with raspberry flavor.  A refreshing beer for Summer brewing and drinking. Alcohol: 3.9%, IBU's 23.

Includes 6 lbs. of our blended wheat malt extract, Hallertau hops, natural raspberry flavoring, and corn sugar for carbonation. Needed yeast not included, order separately above.  Makes 5 gallons with a starting gravity of 1.039.

Yeast recommendations:

1. Wyeast 1187 Ringwood Ale Liquid Yeast the smoothest flavor

2. Apex San Diego Dry Yeast is easier to use, and makes a beer with a flavor almost as smooth as 1187

Good service, good beer

Review by Mariah on 7/2/2020

This is one of those beers you get excited about drinking while you’re making it. It’s not ready to drink yet but we are doing watchful waiting and cannot wait to sip on this!

Great Wheat Beer

Review by Kristian on 11/28/2014

Highly recommended! Was in Germany last year and got hooked on the wheat beers taste. Hard to find a good wheat beer at home in New Zealand, so home brewing with this kit is a great alternative. Makes it too easy....

Great Brew

This is the second batch of this one and will be making many more. Most requested around my house.

When I first heard about this I thought yuk! After tasting it, I immediately ordered it for myself. Excellent taste with just a hint of raspberry and easy to brew.
