In stock, will ship on Thursday, December 11

This kit will fix a Mash & Boil that starts to throw an E4 error code near the end of the boil, which often means the Thermal Cutoff Switch is failing or has changed tolerance. Keep in mind the E4 error code can also be caused by using large hop bags inside the unit during the boil, which restrict normal boil circulation and cause the bottom area where the heating element is to get to hot and trip the switch.
This includes a Thermal Cutoff Switch and needed thermal grease for replacing the switch.

Don't give up on your Mash&Boil if the E4 won't go away. This is a quick and cheap fix. Customer service is excellent !

I have not installed this item yet. I purchased it in case I need it down the road. If the mash and boil is obsolete in the future I will have parts to keep mine going.

Q: Will this work in the original mash and boil to reduce the temp swings like they did for the 2.1?

A: No, this is not related to the thermostat differential range.

Q: Will this work with a brewers edge mash and boils.

A: Yes, it is a replacement part for the Mash & Boil and Mash & Boil with Pump.

Q: Does this work on the grainfather? I'm looking for KSD301-pr 125C. I can't see the part number in the picture. Thank you.

A: No. This is only for the Mash and Boil. What you want is item Z43 Grainfather Thermal Switch.

Q: I'm curious what the specifications are for this? Amps and cutoff temp? Wondering if it might work as a spare for the Grainfather as well....

A: 140 Centigrade is where it shuts off. We have tried, but it does not fit the Grainfather, which has a switch that mounts a little differently.

Q: Will this also work in the Robobrew V2?

A: No, this is a different switch
