Could not get backing off

Review by Michael on 2/2/2025

The paper that is covering the backing would not come off no matter how hard I tried. Even with a razor I couldn't separate the paper from the actual 3m backing ( the part that glues the tidy to whatever you are sticking it to ).

The red 3M VHB backing tape does come off, but it is a bit tricky. Use a hair dryer to heat and then peel with a razor, being careful to get under the red backing tape. The good news is once it is off, and you clean the surface you are sticking to and press it for one minute, it is very strong.

Look up 3M VHB tape on Google for the full story on the state of the art adhesive KegLand uses for the Beer Line Tidy.

Would not stick

Not sure what exactly I was doing wrong, but I could not get these to stick.

Must Have for Kegerator

Review by Tom D. on 7/31/2022

This solved so many of my woes for my 3 keg KegLand kegerator. I was always having issues keeping my lines from getting tangled and caught on each other and my kegs. This completely solved my problems and I couldn't be happier with the results.

Organized!

Review by Michael on 1/31/2022

Great product for organizing all the lines in your kegerator. They attached well to the top of the kegerator and allowed the lines to circle around to the top of the keg.

Q: Will this hold lines with 7/16" OD approx 11mm?

A: No, that is a bit too wide

Q: Does the adhesive work well in a chest freezer? Concerned about cold and moisture degradation.

A: Kergland has this on their website in regards to the type adhesive used on this product. As long as you follow the mounting directions you should have no issues with the adhesive working in a cold environment. NOTE: As of November 2021 we have changed this product to use the 3M VHB adhesive. We have found this particular adhesive to be even better than the 3M PE foam tape but the application instructions are slightly different. 3M recommends for best bonding to apply this product at Room temperature for 72hrs before applying load. After 72hrs curing/dwell time the tape will have reached maximum strength.
