So far so good
Reading the reviews I was worried just received mine this weekend. Works great, used it to clean out beer lines. Wish it came with or was an option for a second bottle so I can swap cleaner and sanitizer. I'm sure some other brand bottle fits, but would like to take the guess work out of it.
Love it at first
At first, this sprayer performed well and would have earned a 5-star rating. After about six months, it began turning on by itself and would not shut off. Shortly after, it stopped working completely. I have contacted Williams Brewing regarding the warranty and am waiting for a response.
William's Brewing Responds: We have replaced this unit under your one year warranty. Yours was one of the first batch produced, and our current inventory is an improved model with less bugs.
Good single line cleaner
This pump works, although with the ball lock head there isn't a lot of pressure. Still, for a single well-maintained line it is very useful. The hose is replaceable, although not super easy. The hose on my unit got destroyed but I was able to source a cheap replacement line from Amazon.
Leaks through the handle
At first I really liked this, especially being able to put the ball lock adapter to clean out lines. However, after a few months it now leaks through the front of the handle. I suppose I could use some duck tape to seal it up but a little sad it didn’t last very long.
William's Brewing Responds: Sorry about this, we are sending you a replacement today.
Two have failed
I gave high praise in an earlier review, but sadly, I must rescend it. My first one ended up randomly switching on and spraying Starsan all over my brew room and would not turn off until the battery died. Williams was great and replaced it, but alas, this one stopped working as well. Poorly made from Kegland, which sucks since I am normally a fan of their products. I suggest waiting until Kegland promises us they fixed these issues. But still, thank you Williams for your customer support!
William's responds: We will send you another under the warranty.
