This is a hydrotest required by law on any cylinder we accept for exchange. If your cylinder has a hydrotest stamped on it that is 5 years old or older, we require you purchase this test so we can recertify the empty cylinder you bring in for exchange. See the pictures for samples of what a hydrotest looks like on your cylinder, and how to spot them.
Currently, your empty exchange cylinder must have a hydrotest of 01/20 or greater to avoid having to pay this charge.
