Q: Could this be used for batching cocktails such as old fashioneds?

A: The Oxebar will hold and dispense any liquid. As far as things like fruit slices, they may clog the faucet. Best to dispense the cocktail and then add fruit.

Q: It looks like the 2nd bottle is useless without the purchase of a second $20 L47. Otherwise is any home brewer going to have a way to get the 1 7/8" OD opening connected to hose? (Just received my set)

A: The starter set is intended to have one Oxebar dispensing at once. Once the one is empty, the second one is tapped and the tapping head moved to the second keg. Yes, a second L47 would enable you to dispense both kegs at the same time.

Q: Would this system work for aging cider or wine? I'm looking at aging ~12 months. Would the oxygen barrier hold for that long?

A: We are comfortable with 6-9 months, a year is pushing it a bit.
