Q: What is the correct process to clean this item? Will it be harmed by PBW or StarSan?

A: It should not need a lot of cleaning, and a brief soak in PBW or StarSan will not hurt it. Prolonged soaking of the plastic float in a caustic solution should be avoided.

Q: How does this product perform with an aeration stone connected to the CO2 post and submerged in the water volume? Will water carbonate more quickly with the aeration stone or does the incoming water jet allow for sufficient CO2 absorption?

A: It will carbonate more quickly with a stone, but if you are only consuming a gallon or less a day, it will carbonate just fine without the stone,

Q: Is there an opening in the back of the kegerator (all kegerators) for the water line to come in?

A: Our KegLand Series X and Series X Plus Kegerators have two holes on the back of each. You can use one hole for the C02 gas, and the other for the water, or run both lines through one hole and save the other hole for something else.
