Q: Does this also fit the alcoengine alembic dome? I have the pot still attachment with the big copper dome right now.

A: Yes, this fits all lids and dome with 47-48mm holes.

Q: what are the differences in orfices

A: There are two orifices which you can use to adjust flow and purity. You will receive an orifice with a 0.6mm hole and also another one with a 1.0mm hole. The hole size is what dictates the speed at which the spirit flows out of the still. As a result by using a larger flow you will get faster collection of spirit but at the same time you will get a reduction in purity.
