Q: I have done 3 runs and had good results but the last run was super slow. I used the same recipe, same water source, same water flow rate, same orifice (larger one) but the distillate dripped out with a rate of 1-2 drops every second. Any thoughts as to what caused the decrease in output?

A: Have you tried cleaning the orifice?

Q: Is there a way to add the stainless extension to this condenser?

A: You could add a 2" Tri-Clamp extension tube. You will need a Tri-Clamp bulkhead (Z56) two 2" Tri-Clamps (Z57) and two 2" Tri-Clamp gaskets (Z58).

Q: Can you take the mesh out and run it as a column still?

A: The stainless steel mesh can be removed with needle nose pliers.

Q: Does this come with a lid for the boiler?

A: No. The lid is sold separately.

Q: Can this be used with the Digiboil 35 liter pot?

A: Yes, as long as you also get an optional distilling lid, our items B80 or Q89.
