Q: Can this control different temperatures in multiple fermenters?

A: It is just a cooling device that you can set to a temperature in centigrade. If you have say, two Grainfather Conical Cooling Edition Fermenters, you can run then both through this chiller, using the pumps that come with the Grainfather Cooling edition and the Grainfather Conical control boxes to control the temperature. So yes you can, providing the brains are in the conical.

Q: Can this be hooked up to a wort chiller?

A: Yes and no. You can hook it up to a wort chiller, although the heat from say 5 gallons of 210 F wort will overwhelm the chiller. What will happen is it will quickly chill down to about 130 F., and then as the 7 + gallons of cooling water inside the Icemaster warm up to 70 degrees F or so, cooling effectiveness will be reduced. We tried it with a copper immersion chiller and after 30 minutes of trying to chill a 5 gallon batch with 7 gallons of water set at just above freezing, the wort was 90 degrees F and temperature inside the unit was 82 degrees. You will probably have better results with a counter flow chiller.
