Q: Can you please confirm the resistance of this line? 8x4mm is quoted as 2.8lbs/ft 8x5mm is quoted as 1lb/ft 9.5x6.5 is also quote as 1lb/ft One of these number is not correct - I suspect your 8x5mm resistance is not right

A: You are right, we have a typo. For the 8 by 4mm figure about 2.1 lbs per foot, for the 8.5, figure about 1 pound per foot. For the 9.5, the figure of 1 lb is incorrect, it is much less than this.

Q: I do not need anywhere near 39 feet of tubing! Is it possible to get just 8 to 10 feet.

A: Right now we do not have a shorter length option, but we are working on selling this tubing by the foot. It might be a couple months before we get this in.

Q: Do you no longer carry Z91, the 4mm x 8mm Evabarrier?

A: We still carry the 4mm x 8mm EvaBarrier tubing and have plenty in stock. There was a problem on our website search system that has now been fixed. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.

Q: I'm trying to find a good guage for length for tubing as I'm trying to rebuild my keezer. I live in CO so I know that there is a difference in some regard due to elevation. For keeping my psi at 12, do I need 12 feet per line?

A: Yes, with this tubing, which has 1 pound of resistance per foot, 12 feet would be right for 12 psi. You might also look at the narrower 5/32" tubing, as it has more resistance per foot, and is designed for beer lines.

Q: How are you able to connect this to a c02 distributor? Loving the idea and have a 8 plug distributor and trying to figure out how this would connect. Would I have to change all of the plugs in the distributor to be similar to the female 8mm connection?

A: You will need a distributor with 1/4" male flare outlet valves. We have these, for a two valve distributor, see our item X62, for a three valve, item X63, four valve, item X64, 5 five, item X70, and six valve, item X71.
