Q: Can this be used for gas as well? I like the higher restriction for shorter beer lines and would like to just use one line size for both beer and gas runs if possible.

A: Yes, although the interior diameter is too small to fit 1/4" hose barbs common to gas connectors. It will fit Duotight connectors.
