Q: Can you attach a whiskey helmet to this? Been using it with the standard pot still attachment. Curious if a helmet could be attached with triclamps in between?

A: Yes, is the helmet has 2" Tri-Clamp inlet and outlets, you could use our item Z56 2" Tri Clamp bulkhead to attach the helmet to the top of the dome.

Q: Can this setup (with suitable condenser) be used as a steam condenser when brewing beer?

A: The dome can be used with our item G64 Steam Condenser, as long as you also buy a 2" Tri Clamp bulkhead item Z56. If all you want to do is condense steam, and are not interested in distilling, a cheaper way to go would be to get the B80 Distllling Lid, Z56 Bulkhead, and G64 Steam Condenser.

Q: Is is flimsy?

A: No, it is made of pure copper, but it cannot be flexed by hand. Copper is soft and will bend easily, so it should be handled with a bit of care.
