A: No, the only distilling lid that fits this is our item L14.

Q: Do you recommend a particular sparge arm for the M & B, susceptible as the Fermentap or something else? Thanks!

A: We just dump sparge water into the top a half gallon or so at a time, and do not have any problems with efficiency. If you are using a pump, something like the Fermentap or even a simple float ball on silicone tubing would work.

Q: What is the diameter of the faucet outlet?

A: The faucet outlet has a 1/2" hose barb attached to it. If you unscrew the hose barb, it has 1/2" threads.

Q: is there a hole in the lid? What size is it?

A: There is a 1/8" hole in the standard lid included with the Mash & Boil intended for a long stem dial or digital thermometer.
