Q: Can the valve be extended so you can control the flame further away from the burner? Looking to use with NG.

A: You could rig another valve inline away from the burner, but the valve includes the orifice, and must stay screwed into the back of the burner. You also could not adjust the butterfly valve anywhere except at the back of the burner, this controls the air/gas ratio. So you could partially control the heat with a second valve you purchase away from the burner, but not the air balance.

Q: My total lpg psi is 1psi. Will this work to produce enough flame to boil wort?

A: 1 PSI should work, most homes are .5 to 2 psi natural gas pressure.

Q: Sorry to be a pain, but one more question. If I get the propane valve/orifice, what will the expected BTUs be? Thanks again!

A: The output using LPG is 60,000 BTU.

Q: To clarify my question is will the propane jet work with low pressure propane? I have everything to connect up to it.

A: Yes, use the propane valve item L52 with this burner and propane.
