Now that it's gone....

Review by Greg Y. on 7/3/2010

Pros: I raved about the high quality of this kit back in Feb. when I reviewed it upon arrival to be my 2nd batch ever, and my only worry then was I never did a 2ndary ferment before. I shouldn't have worried, this beer came out great - aromatic & flavorful & easy to drink. Peak flavor was about 7 weeks after boil (not too fruity, enough carbonation, pleasing during & after a session).

Cons: 5 gallons gone quickly -- the guys & their wives loved this beer.

Long but worth it!!!

Pros: The long fermenting process was hard to swallow. I let it stay bottled for 3 weeks before opening my first one! Wow, what a surprise, very tasty and powerful! Worth the wait!!!!

Cons: I'm running out! Need to have another fermenting container. Looks like I will be ordering one soon so I can brew this beer again!

Most requested beer I make

Review by Michael D. on 5/13/2010

Pros: This is a great brew, not only for you but also for getting people to try a "different" beer. I've made 2 batches of this for myself, and have now made 5 batches for people who tried mine.

Cons: Be prepared, people will ask you for more.

Everyone's favorite!

Pros: Although I messed up in spilling some of the beet sugar to make this beer, it still turned out awesome. This is the first kit I've ever brewed and I am not disappointed. This brew impressed my other beer entrepreneur friends. One friend even offered to buy me another kit so that we could split the batch! You won't be disappointed. Keep in mind that the alcohol content on this beer is higher than others.

Cons: Takes longer to brew than most kits

Amazing

Pros: This kit allows you to make a Belgian beer so much better than most of those on the market. I've not gotten to the final stage to drink the beers yet, but I've been tasting along the way, and they just keep getting better and better. The aromas, too, are fabulous.

Cons: None that I can find.
