What are the ingredients?

Review by AZ Brewer on 10/22/2006

Pros: Haven't tried the beer yet, still fermenting.

Cons: Ingredients aren't labeled or othewise indicated. No way of knowing what hops or what malt extracts were used. Very disappointing. Everyother homebrew site I've ordered from lets the brewer know what they're brewing. Not William's Brewing. Very disappointing.

Smokey/Sweet

Review by tapthis on 12/12/2005

Pros: Full body and nice head.

Cons: A bit smokey for my tastes.

Hearty and sweet

Review by MurphysIrish on 10/14/2005

Pros: Wasn't sure about this one when I transferred to secondary because it had a real burnt caramel taste at the end, but after bottling the sharpness mellowed out VERY nicely. More malty than hoppy if you like it that way. I do. Pours into a strong head. Heavily bodied mouthfeel.

Cons: Carbonation light, but that's likely due to brewer error more than anything else.

Fireside - The best brew

Review by EdandYvonneMoore on 9/16/2005

Pros: I've made Fireside so often, it's about 50% of my total brewing. This beer is the perfect brew for entertaining at home, or for spending the special evening with your wife.

Cons: The cost is a bit higher than other kits, but well worth the money. Why pay a bit less, only to get an inferior product?
