Great Hydrometer for Anal Measuring Freaks Like Me

Pros: Easy to read. No doubt in your gravity measurement. Range is adequated for all but the biggest brews. Despite someone's earlier review, it will easily work with a 12" test jar (it is 10.5" from its bottom to the lowest reading, which is 0.998 - not 1.000).

Cons: Appears to be very fragile - I would not recommend wiping it down at all - just rinse off and set in a stand to dry. After breaking 3 hydrometers, I think I've learned to treat them right, but if I break this one, I will order another.

Pros: Very easy to read. I've had it for over a year and I love it

Cons: Fragile. Be careful when wiping down because it's easy to snap the stem off. This just happened to me so I'm ordering another one.

Best Hydrometer ever

Pros: Easy to read & extremely accurate. I should have gotten this one years ago.

Cons: It looks delicate so I treat it with care. It can only measure down to 1.012 with a "topped-off" 12" hydro jar.
