This roaster is exactly as advertised and provides a means of roasting beans to our personal preferences. I would recommended this product if someone would like to venture into roasting and add a little flare to their coffee experience.

I'd give it a 5 star but this thing definitely needs the addon extension tube. I got mine from another source and it turbo charges the drying process of this unit. It helps to take notes on the level of roast you want to achieve and follow along as the time and process moves along. I moved my roasting to the garage for less mess in the house and setting off smoker detectors. There's no comparison with fresh roasted coffee. I wish I got mine years ago when checking them out here at Williams Brewing.

This is a great coffee roaster to get started on. I highly suggest buying the extension tube to get started on as well if available. Easy enough to use and experiment with. There are a LOT of videos on youtube for advice and roasting tips. We've been enjoying the roaster and the coffee samples that came with it. Highly recommend this product and home roasting of coffee! Be careful as it can lead up to an obsessive new hobby!

I don't know why I waited so long to buy this roaster. It is a fantastic product! Roasting fresh coffee in the house is an aroma experience each time. An 8oz batch holds me over for about 4 days. Always looking forward to the next roasting session. I did purchase the Extension Tube which makes the roaster even more efficient. I doubt you can find a better roaster for the price. Coffee is my other beer!
