Good but watch for failures

Review by Steve R on 11/15/2024

I've used these for several years and overall it's the best and easiest way to connect stuff. But several have failed by cracking in the threaded end. Don't over-tighten them (finger tight seems to suffice), keep some spares, and suspect them first when you get a leak.

8 mm to flare fitting

Review by James Hazlett on 7/27/2022

I converted my keg system over to these fittings. They are easy to use and don't leak initially. However I have had two of them just outright fail and bust in half after a short period of time. I lost an entire cylinder of CO2 after the fitting on the regulator failed. Use this particular fitting with caution.
William's Brewing Responds: A good thing to do to make sure they are not too tight and stressing the plastic is to hand tighten, and then tighten with a wrench 1/4 of a turn.

Awesome & easy

I've switched everything in my kegging setup over to duotight and these connectors are awesome! Haven't had an issue with leaking and so easy to insert tubing and remove it. Highly recommended!

All duotight in a new kegerator

Review by John W on 9/20/2019

Used all duotight fittings in a new kegerator build. Unfortunately I had two of these fittings crack in the middle on a gas distribution manifold. Hand tightened and only about another 1/2 turn with wrench on all fitting connections. All were holding pressure initially but after changing a keg from 20 psi to 12 psi, the connector started to leak. Changed to swivels on the gas manifold. I have these fittings on ball lock connectors for gas and liquid and on shank connector with no issues.
