Flawed design

Review by Jesse on 10/13/2020

Not sure what the deal is but occasionally the diptube doesn't fully submerge and pulls co2 through the line causing to pour nothing but gas or foam. It doesn't always happen but when it does it's frustrating. Usually happens when filling a growler. I actually opened the keg to replace it with a normal diptube and that's what I saw. It's a bummer because it's such a nice and simple idea/design, but it just doesn't quite cut it.

Works great

Only issue is occasional it will blow gas due to the ball being cocked to one side. A simple rocking of the keg rights the ball and all is well. I have them in all my kegs.

works great so far

Review by Paul Lindsey on 5/21/2020

Using it for the first time on a wheat based beer and it is working great. But still early as the keg is still more then half full. Time will tell. But it was easy to install and so far so goox.

I am drinking clear beer!

Review by Wayne on 5/7/2020

I just installed 2 of these. I had a little difficulty with the first one, getting the plastic tubing on the steel insert. I used a bit of keg lube for the 2nd one and it slid right on. I paired this with check valves on the CO2 so no worries about backflow. The dip tubes make a great CO2 in tube and speed up carbonation. After 3 days under pressure the beer is drinkable!

Fits into Sanke fitting

Review by Wayne on 11/4/2019

I use this for fermenting in a Sanke keg. I have modified a 2" tri-clamp cover to accept a corny fitting. The ball fits through the opening in a standard Sanke opening (spear removed). Works like a champ, transfers to a standard keg after cold crashing very well. Just stop the transfer when I see yeast in the transfer tube. Great product. I have 3 and will be ordering more when they are in stock.
