Good thermometer

Picked up two of these when on sale at a discount. They read a couple degrees different, but I can easily compensate for that. Wasn't sure about how they would seal, since most I've seen are designed for the gasket to be inside the kettle. Drill the hole as specified, smooth all the burrs and it will seal like a champ....mine does.
