Good so far

Review by Scott on 1/25/2019

This batch is still fermenting, but the initial steps have been pretty easy. The waiting period is tough when you are curious about flavor. I would recommend this product from the early stages of the steps to make it.

so far, so good

I just bottled this one after 4 months. Really strong at this young age and looking forward to aging and trying over time. I've started Pinot and Viognier kits from Williams, and so far so good on those as well. Really impressed with Williams kits compared to all the other mainstream brands i've been using over the years.

Very Potent Juice

Review by Thomas on 5/23/2014

I just started this batch so I can't comment on the taste yet. However, compared to other kits in this price range I'm blown away. I had to add an additional .75G of water to get the S.G. where I wanted it (~13% ABV potential, was closer to 15% when mixed per the recipe). Most other kits in this price range are labeled as 6 gallon kits and only produce a 9% ABV wine with a "medium body". From the taste of the juice I'm confident this wine will be excellent after 6-9 months. If not I'll be back with a fresh review.

Petite Sirah

Review by Robert on 7/25/2013

I made this wine in early Aug of 2012. I just bottled it the 3rd week of July 2013. This is a good solid wine that I would not hesitate to drink and share with others. I can't rate it a 5 right now because I don't detect enough complexity. However in another 6 to 12 months it may be there.

Petite Sirah Kit

Review by Jim on 1/16/2013

I bottled this wine 11/20/2012 and can't keep away from it! So much for waiting the recommended 3 months! It has become my new favorite. Will be difficult to keep a bottle for 2-3 years Very easy to make and I got a yield of 2 cases for a price of $2.91 per bottle (including shipping!) I'm not a wine snob, just a wine drinker, but this is better than some I've bought for $35-$50 a bottle. Good Job!
