MADE THIS BEER WITH A GOOD FREIND IT WAS THE FIRST TIME HE HAD BREWED THIS BEER WAS EASY TO MAKE AND IT TURNED OUT TO BE ONE OF THA BEST EILLIAMS BEERS I HAVE DONE GOT FLAVOR AND CRISP AFTER TASTE

This was only my 2nd attempt at brewing and it came GREAT! Fermentation went exactly as the instructions said it would. Beer is strong and pleasantly bitter. I'd recommend this kit to anyone, especially a novice like myself.

Pros: This was my first brew. Great directions, easy to brew. Good color, flavor, and head retention. Would brew this again. My beer friends liked it quite a bit.

Cons: Found the pouch of extract difficult to deal with. Beer finished a little bitter, and did not have a much hop aroma as I would have expected.

Pros: Very nice balanced flavor. Instructions were clear and the preparation went without incident. Others that drank it were impressed and didn't find the hoppiness to be too extreme. Even had a local microbrewery brewmaster try it. He couldn't believe it wasn't a commerical microbrew I picked up somewhere.

Cons: Like a little more hop aroma and taste (but I am a "hophead"). Will try dry hopping next time.
