Mild Stout, but flavorful

Review by Matthew P. on 3/3/2006

Pros: Great mild stout. It is light hopped. It has a rich "stout" flavor, but it not overpowerful. I have made this one about 5 times and will continue to make it. Do't be scared that it will be a thick beer you drink with a fork, because even though it is dark, it is not to thick. ** along with the porter, this is my top favorite** If you don't know what kit to get, get this one and the porter for a mild smooth beer. It have only done this been in bottles, which gives a so-so head. I will be kegging my next batch, hoping to get a better head.

Cons: None

Good stuff!

William's Stout-Fun Afternoon of Brewing

Review by Sean R. on 11/20/2005

Pros: I like the William's kits. They make for a fum afternoon of brewing with a good tasting result. This kit gives you a good stout with minimal work. I enjoyed it and would buy it again.

Cons: It would be helphul to have explanations in the instructions for new brewers.(flavoring hops and aroma hops).

Williams Stout

Review by Justin H. on 9/17/2005

Pros: Nice malty flavor with good body and slight hint of hops in both taste and smell.

Cons: More mild than i thought it would be. If your looking for a strong stout opt for the double stout.
