Pros: Tasty

Good but preffered the Triple

Review by Justin K. on 3/24/2008

Pros: Nice smooth taste, easy to brew. If you like belgians definitely give this one a try.

Cons: Not as good as the Belgian triple in my opinion. (though I'm partial to the stronger flavors and ABV)

Great Brew'

Pros: Very complex flavor, nice after a long day at work. A little harsher flavor than an ale, But that is what makes it unique,

Cons: Its all gone ....

A good extract recipe with authentic flavor

Review by Ashley M. on 10/18/2007

Pros: I'm no Belgian ale expert but I have tried a few commercial offerings in restaurants, etc.. In my opinion, this ale has the correct flavor which I assume is imparted largely by the sugar and partially by the yeast. My batch actually finished closer to 6.7% ABV.

Cons: Nothing major. As stated in the description, definately "not as smooth as a lager" but that's to be expected in a brew of this strength. If I brew it again, I'd try bumping up the priming sugar by maybe 15%.
