I've been looking for something like this. I almost built one until I found this. Really nice hardware.

Used a lot

Pros: I wore out my first one and now I'm buying a new ne and a spare. A great alternative to the hassle of siphoning.

Cons: As long as you're careful and don't tightent too far, you shouldn't have a problem with leaking, just be aware.

Simplicity itself

Pros: I added a valve to my plastic fermenter, and used the invert tube backnut. No more racking cane! No more manipulating tubing to start a siphon! A clean and easy improvement to my wort transfer process.

Cons: After transferring my second batch this way, I decided the price (nearly as much as the valve) was no longer a "con".
