We've brewed a total of 3 batches of this--the last one being a double batch. It never disappoints. Easy to brew and comes out as a great beer.

Dry Hopping adds dimension

I've brewed this kit several times and it is one of my favorites. I've settled on brewing per instructions and then dry hopping with 2 oz of Zythos Hops. It needs to stay in the fridge for at least 3 weeks before reaching an optimum flavor for me.

Hops Heaven

Pros: I tend to like my beers quite hoppy with a good malt base. This one hit it almost perfect, though I did bump it a bit. I brewed as per kit but added 1oz each Cascade and Willamette to the keg for additional aroma. I let this age for 4 weeks at about 55F before tapping. The hops character was perfect. Good bitterness without being over-the-top. The addition of the dry-hops created a wonderful aroma. The head was thick, white, and held for an amazing time for a beer without any rice adjuncts. Alcohol 7.1% by weight! Cons: I like a little more malt base than this beer has so I'll probably mash a couple pounds of malt (Golden Promise?).

Couldn't Have Been Better

This beer far exceeded my expectations. After having so so results with a previous batch of Belgium Wit, I was elated to find that this batch of IPA turned out perfectly. What a great taste! I have already reordered!

Excellent Kit Beer

I brewed this beer and put it up in the 6L Tap A Draft bottles. It is a favorite amongst my friends and neighbors! Very nice hops aroma and flavor!
