Not hoppy enough

Review by richard h. on 4/29/2009

Pros: Easy kit with nice color.

Cons: I was a little let down by this kit. I was expecting a more aggressive hop flavor. Too fruity for me.

William's American IPA

Review by Paul P. on 4/24/2009

Pros: Easy to brew, (although I would recomend a secondary fermenter), this is the best batch I have ever brewed. If you like IPA's give this a try. It is absolutely great.

Cons: It's an IPA. Therefore, there are no cons.

Delicious!

Review by Shawn V. on 4/3/2009

Pros: This beer is simple delicious. This was my first batch ever and it was extremely easy to brew. The hop flavor is perfectly balanced with the malt. I aged it 13 days in the bottles and the carbonation is spot on. Tasty beer. Highly recommended!

Cons: Can't think of any!

Really Pretty Amazing First Brew

Review by Todd on 3/15/2009

Pros: This was my first attempt at home brewing. I'm a rabid fan of Sierra Nevada Pale, and Red Hook Long Hammer IPA, Victory Hop Devil, and this William's kit stands right there with them. My beer snob friends were absolutely startled by how well it turned out! Just follow the directions, and don't forget to believe it will turn out well. Great taste! Great color! Great nose! ( a bit lighter in alcohol then those others - which just lets you have an extra one! )

Cons: I really can't think of any, except the look on my wife's face when she came in and smelled the house after I made this...

west coast ale
