First try at wine

The kit arrived fast and was easy to use. I had hoped for a little more risdual sugar but the wine is still very young.

Both cans of the Muscat were full of crystallized sugar. I had to boil the sugar to get it dissolved. Not just a little but s lot of crystallized sugar from the bottom of the can. I called and spoke to Bill about the fact that there is no dates on the cans whatsoever and that I felt that this was old stock. They offered to replace the product, this was the only kit that I ever had this problem with and I have purchased about 10 kits from them. William's Brewing Responds: The cans do not have dates on them but the box does, and the box said the kit was still good. We are thinking cold storage crystalized the sugars in the concentrate. As long as the color has not darkened, the kit should be good, and the finished Muscat should be good. Great coustomer service, awaiting new kit.

Excellent product.The kit had everything needed to make a beautiful muscat wine . The price is the lowest you can find . Just bottled the wine but already smells delicious. Also seems like a very high akohool content . Recommend to all. Also its my first time making wine and it was very easy Thank you

I made 3 batches of this kit. 2 batches I used d47 yeast and 1 batch with 71b-1122. 71b-1122 , I believe, lowers the acidity too much. On all 3 batches, I held back 1.5 litter as back sweetener. After fermentation, I also did sur lie aging and battonage for 1 month. The resulting wines were highly praise by family and friends. But the batch with d47 were compare to a moscato d'asti by a stranger who spend time in Italy.

I brewed the muscat for the first time. Results were excellent. Yesterday we bottled the wine and is drinkable right now.
